Description

Combined ropes are made from steel wires with vegetable or synthetic strands and cables. A steel rope is wrapped from above with synthetic strands, tightly covering its surface. With such a combination, the properties of the rope hardly change, a surface with a good coefficient of friction is formed, which allows the rope to be pulled by hand. These ropes include the Hercules combined rope, which is widely used in the fishing industry.

Features:

Combined ropes are a construction using both synthetic fibers and steel wire. The rope is formed by twisting using the cable lay technology, six strands of the rope are wound around a polypropylene core.

An equal - strength GO - PLCt rope is on average 5 times thicker than a steel rope and 1.5 - 2 times thinner than a hemp rope. The weight of such a rope is half that of a hemp rope and slightly differs from a steel rope, and the service life is much longer than that of a hemp rope.
