The set of devices is designed for lifting and delivering one of the main types of raw materials to production sites - sheet metal. With the help of this kit, the issues of moving large - sized sheets are solved, with minimal time spent on slinging.

Lifting and moving metal sheets is carried out in a horizontal position using special grippers of the ZGL type. To evenly distribute the load and prevent sheet deflection, an even number of grippers with suspension on the traverse are used.

Design

The set of load - gripping devices for sheet metal includes:

• traverse with a suspension for the central eyelet;
• rope slings, type 2SK;
• gripper for sheet metal type ZGL.

The elements of the kit are selected in such a way as to provide the required lifting capacity, the minimum lifting height while maintaining the optimal and safe angle between the branches of the sling, as well as the minimum deflection of the sheet during lifting and transportation.

The linear traverse allows the use of a set of accessories in rooms with limited lifting height, since the hook of a crane or other lifting device is attached directly to the central eye. The estimated lifting height of the greatest load - carrying capacity sets ranges from 2.5 to 2.7 meters.

The sheet slinging scheme using a traverse also prevents lateral loads on the grippers, thus practically eliminating the possibility of the grippers turning out (as is the case with 4SK slings). The grippers are installed opposite one another equidistant from the edges of the sheet.
