Origin
This univalve gastropod mollusk can found along the southern Chilean coastline. They are commonly found attached to rocks and harvested by scuba divers at depths of 5 to 10 mts. / 16.4 to 32.8 ft. on rocky coastlines. Trophon Top Shell is protected from harvest in the XII Region from October 1 through November 30.
